💡 For functions such as measurement, construction diary, or progress evaluation, it is recommended to draw areas. In the construction diary, the checked-off tasks are displayed as suggestions for completed tasks sorted by areas. And in the measurement tool, the already created areas are suggested as locations for recording materials. You can learn more about this under 🔷Construction Diary and 🔷Measurement.

📌 CENDAS Plans
You can create and edit areas both in the plan preparation section and in the plan view.
➡️ Draw Areas
To create an area on the plan, first click on the Area icon in the toolbar and select either Rectangular Area or Polygonal Area.
You draw a rectangular area on the plan by clicking once to set the top left corner and a second time to set the bottom right corner.
You draw a polygonal area on the plan by clicking to set each corner of the area until the area closes (end point = starting point).
For both types of areas, you then create a new area or assign it to an existing area in the side menu that opens. Finally, you specify whether the area should be created in multiple plans and save your entries.
➡️ Manage Areas
After creating an area, you can manage it by clicking on its surface in the plan. In the side menu that opens, you can check off all tasks with the same checklist within the area at once. You can also rename the area via the three vertical dots next to its name. Through these vertical dots, you can also access the bulk editing of tasks within the area, allowing you to set a due date and assign a responsible person after selecting the relevant tasks.
➡️ Delete Areas
To delete an area, open its side menu by clicking on its surface in the plan. Then select Delete Room via the three vertical dots next to its name. In the window that opens, you can decide whether to delete the area from all plans (if you previously created it on multiple plans). Then click Delete to complete the process.
📣Note:
Deleting rooms is permanent; they cannot be restored afterward. Tasks, drawings, etc., within an area are not deleted. The area also remains available in the measurement tool.
➡️ Hide Areas
If you want to hide the areas, first click on the Area icon in the toolbar and then select Hide Areas. You can subsequently show them again the same way via Show Areas.
