📌 CENDAS Plans
You can measure on plans both in the plan preparation area and in the plan view.
➡️ Calibrating
Before you can measure anything on the plan, calibration must be done. To do this, click on the Measuring icon in the toolbar and then select Calibrate. Now you can set the start and end points of the calibration line by clicking on the plan and define its length in meters. A scale in the plan header is best suited for this.
📣Note:
The calibration line is now displayed as a green line. The line is currently not hideable.
➡️ Measuring
To measure a distance on the plan, click again on the Measuring icon in the toolbar and this time select Measure. Then set the start and end points of the measurement line by clicking on the plan. The length is displayed in meters above this line.
📣Note:
Measurement lines are displayed in red. They remain visible until you switch the plan or refresh the page.
➡️ Creating Dimensions on Plans
To add a dimension on the plan, click again on the Measuring icon in the toolbar and this time select Create Dimension. Then select the start and end points with a click.
📣Note:
Dimension lines are displayed in blue.
➡️ Creating Chain Dimensions
For measuring or dimensioning around corners and edges, you must additionally click the option "Activate chain dimension" before starting the actual measurement. Note that the measurement process must always be completed with a double-click at the end measurement point.
