In this article, we will show you how allowance tasks work in the plan view.

Special Feature of the Task

The measurement task is directly linked to the allowance feature. Here, you can not only document your progress but also directly enter the materials you have used. This way, you have a direct association with the exact task and thus proof of what you used the materials for.

Finding Tasks

To find a task in the task overview, you have the following options:

1. Search in the search bar
   - enter the task name or task number here
2. Filter options
   - activate the filter by "Task Type" and select measurement task
   - activate the filter by "Checklists" and select the appropriate checklist used in the measurement tasks

- activate the filter by "Title" and enter the task name here

Working in the Task

After you have successfully created your task, you can now work within it.

This includes the following options:

Section "MEASUREMENT"

1. Add measurement
2. View activity log
3. Activate translation
4. View and add comments

Section "DETAILS"

1. Change the current status
2. Add a checklist
3. Add a due date
4. Assign subcontractors and responsibilities
5. Add files
6. View activity log
7. Activate translation
8. View and add comments

Documenting measurements in the task

To document your consumption, you can proceed as follows

1. Open the allowance task
2. In the "Allowance" section, click on Add measurement
   

3. Enter information:
   - Bill of quantities position (optional)
   - Title of the position
   - Area (depending on the areas created on the plan)
   - Section
   - Quantity
   - Unit
   - Relevant for change orders 
   
   
    

   💡Note:

   The bill of quantities position can only be selected if a GAEB file has been uploaded beforehand in the "Measurement" menu item. See "Measurement".
