CENDAS AI Support - Explained Step by Step
Our CENDAS AI helps you create tasks for a group of components. To do this, it visually searches for similar components in the plan based on your selection. The tasks created this way are then also included in the bill of materials export.
We will explain below how easily you can use the CENDAS AI for your purposes.
❗Important:
This feature is only available to you if you have a Manage license.
Step 1: Select Component
To select a component as the basis for the search, simply draw a frame around it and confirm the selection with the green checkmark.
📣Note:
Make sure your desired component is clearly visible and not overlapped by other elements of the plan. The drawn frame should enclose the component as precisely as possible and contain as few other elements as possible. The more precise your selection, the better the AI's result. Selection from the legend is not possible.
Step 2: Confirm Component
Our AI may show you several options that match your selection. Please choose the variant that best represents the desired component.
Step 3: Select Checklist (optional)
Assign a suitable checklist to the future tasks to later track the processing status.
Step 4: Assign Task Name
Give the task a meaningful name to find it more easily later.
💡Tip:
You can also simply adopt the name of the checklist.
Step 5: Set Reference
Check all details and confirm your selection to set it as the reference.
Step 6: Create Tasks
Now select all components for which you want to create a task.
6.1: Adjust Similarity Level
Our AI evaluates how similar the found elements are to your chosen reference. Move the slider to adjust the similarity level.
Step 7: Select Elements
Select the desired elements directly from the list by clicking. Or display the elements on the plan by clicking the eye icon—and make your selection there.
Step 8: Create Tasks
Once you have selected all desired components, click "Create Task" to complete the process.
