Flexible Forms in CENDAS
What are flexible forms?
With our flexible forms, you have the option to create templates for standardized documents that you need for your daily work. Using various settings, you can create as many form templates as you like and tailor them to your use cases.
To use the forms, you must first create templates. You can access the form templates via the following path: Global Templates - Fillable Forms
Under "Create Template" you start configuring your templates.
1. Preparing the Template
1.1. Basic Information
Name your template clearly so you can find it again at any time and optionally add an additional description.
You can sort your forms by selecting a category.
1.2. The Footer
Create a footer with the desired information and decide how you want to use it.
1.3. Save and Continue
Save your template and go directly to "Design Form".
2. Designing the Form

How should the selected form be structured?
You design the layout of your form using drag & drop.
With the help of various fields, you can decide which information you want to display in the form.
Add desired fields or remove them to customize your form.
Some fields can be edited in more detail in the right column. For example, you can decide for each field whether it should be mandatory.

3. The Form
You have finished creating your template and now want to create a form in your project?
Select project - Forms - "Create" at the top right

In the left column, you will see all form templates previously created in global management.
Select the desired form there.
Then click at the bottom right on
Name your form and click at the bottom right on
3.3. Filling out the Form
You can now fill in all fields.
All changes are saved as a draft during editing.
Once you are finished, click on .
Attention: Once you confirm this, you can no longer change the form afterwards.
All created forms can be found at any time in your project under "Forms".
