Just in time for the sunny late summer (which we here in Bochum can at least still remember), we have released some new, practical features that will hopefully make you shine – and make the CENDAS app even better.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As already announced, extensive maintenance work was carried out on the database on 09/19/2024. Therefore, all projects need to be downloaded again for offline use. We ask for your understanding.
Even more precise: New dimensioning feature
It’s finally here: the much-requested dimensioning feature allows you to take measurements directly on a calibrated plan, enabling you to plan individual installation tasks, for example.
Even easier: Use photos and images as plans
Detailed CAD plans are not always available for planning projects and tasks. Now, you can simply upload images, for example, photos of maps or plans, and assign tasks to them as usual.
Even clearer: User management & permissions
In previous updates, we already enhanced role assignment and permissions management. Now, we have also simplified inviting users, and user permissions are displayed directly in the user view.
Even more: Additional improvements
- You can now change the task type afterwards.
- The signatory in the construction diary can now also be changed.
- Additionally, construction managers and project managers can now be entered in the project settings. The transfer to the construction diary happens automatically.
Finally: Bug fixes
As usual, with every update we release numerous bug fixes to make the CENDAS app even faster and more stable. This time, for example, we fixed the error that caused you to return to the plan view when undoing tasks.
